Dexter Adkin (he/they) will be working in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg, on lands collectively known as the Williams Treaties. He recently graduated from the Ecological Restoration joint program between Fleming College and Trent University.

His love of being outdoors and especially of identifying and learning about plants brought me into the environmental field. From there, Dexter’s passion for environmentalism and climate action grew and brought him to the MCI program. Through this internship, he hopes to establish himself in the local community network and contribute to climate change programming in the County.
